Welcome to our webpage!

There are 32 pupils in our classroom. 18 in fourth class and 14 in fifth class. Mrs McBrearty is our teacher this year. We also have Claire, who is an S.N.A. in our room. 

  We have lots to learn this year in the various subjects. 

Check in with us from time to time to see how we are getting on.

Visual Art

We are determined to work hard and "put our best foot forward" this year. Our art reminds us of this.

Science We studied plants in Science and Geography. We brought in lots of interesting flowers, seeds and plants and tried to name them. We had them on our nature table. We conducted an experiment with white carnations and blue and green food dye. We showed how the plants feed through their stems. After a week the flower in the blue food dye had started to turn blue and the flower in the green food dye had started to go green.

Friendship Week

We took part in a lot of activities this week to show our support for friendship week in the school. We learned a new poem "I can be a pal". We learned a new song "Lean on me" and we created some lovely art. No one can be good friends with everyone all the time but we are going to try very hard to get along!
